Jessica's new gimmick made her feel fresher than she has in years. I'd say the tag match was the weakest, it was fine but it had a bit too little time and the story hasn't been quite there in my opinion. Which is a shame because in particular Jami Aalto and Shemeikka are top 5 wrestlers in Finland. MOTYC: Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Destruction in Beppu (9/15) I adored this match. Great technical work and great story telling from two of the best ever. Commentary also does a great job of getting this over. MOTYC: Robbie Eagles & Will Ospreay vs. El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori, Destruction in Kagoshima (9/16) Flips r kewl MOTYC: Takumi Iroha vs. Nanae Takahashi, SEAdLINNING Stay Tune (5/29) - https://dai.ly/k46KMgzZn8gyWfu5F0Z Great hard hitting joshi match. I don't think I'd watch Iroha yet, but she's great. Nanae is of course, also awesome. The last minute or so took this from HM to MOTYC for me. HM: Kota Ibushi vs. KENTA, Destruction in Kagoshima (9/16) The heat arguably goes on for too long here, including the pre-match stuff, but both KENTA & Ibushi are very talented workers. Of course, Ibushi somehow manages to land on his head and not break his neck again. HM: Puma King vs. Black Destiny, Tr3s Caidas (7/27) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7eWCSrBXKI HM: Dragon Lee vs. Bandido, Tr3s Caidas (7/27) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yD2J99x_E2A This was a very good match and a touch disappointing given the level of workers involved. It was the night after the five star trios match in PWG, so maybe Bandido was a bit beat up.

HM 13th December ROH Final Battle 2019 Dan Maff vs Jeff Cobb Nothing fancy or complex, just a well executed sprint between two hunks of beef. Crowd wasn't great but match was exceptionally fun. I'm glad Maff is still good.
