Could the queue just be more people going for pre work voting instead of after work so they avoid doing it in the cold and dark? I forgot to cancel my postal vote registration (I was out of the country for the last one) and postal voting just doesn't have the same satisfaction.

Just did my little bit with a cross for Greg Marshall in Broxtowe from me and I'm pretty sure from the wife too. I feel bad that I haven't been out doorstepping but I've not managed to find any time and I'm still not sure if I'm affected by purdah or not but at least we've cast our votes.

Done my duty. Although the only time this seat wont be Tory is when the Tory party finally implodes so always feels slightly pointless, but I live in hope that in 50 years there might be a chance with all the slight swings each election.
