I was looking through some stuff I've saved on Spotify earlier in the year but not listened to much, and man I dunno how I slept on this album. I personally enjoy Baneblade but Sankara are much better in the same niche and might be more the speed of folks that don't like the former. Unrelated but Etheraldine dropped a new album today, pretty good Iranian blackgaze.

Marina & the Diamonds - The Family Jewels (2010) Conqueror - War.Cult.Supremacy (2011) Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart (2012) Longmont Potion Castle - 9 (2012) Rise of the Northstar - Demonstrating My Saiya Style (2012) TrenchRot - Necronomic Warfare (2014) Twilight Force - Tales of Ancient Prophecies (2014) Rise of the Northstar - Welcame (2014) Bloodbound - Rise of the Dragon Empire (2019) Strange to look at considering I listen to at least twice as much black metal as any other genre but only gave 1 bm related comp a 5. My 4.5s are absolutely full of bm, tho. Edit: Huh, apparently my decade's worth of 4.5s and 5s would fit on a 100 image collage. Maybe I'll make one and post it later.
