My name is about the most German thing you could think of. I got endless poo poo for it as a child, still get some static as an adult. "Hey, Hitler!", "Are you a Nazi ", that kinda thing. (It's not Adolf, btw) I look at some of the names in this thread and think, "poo poo, I ain't got it so bad." Then I see Suparman Bin Batman, fuuck, gimmie your name dammit.

There was a guy in the State Department who served under several US presidents named Lawrence Eagleburger, a name that has always made me chuckle. He had a big jowly politician frown face. Lol Eagleburger

Went to school with a girl who's name was Mary Hoe. She wised up and finally changed it to her mom's maiden name by 9th grade. But she definitely got tortured for it up until then. Also from the same town as this infamous chiropractor: Bjay9 has a new favorite as of 22:07 on Dec 19, 2019 |

Twice now I have met SAcoyle--both first letters capitalized, no apostrophes. Everyone pronounced it "Sequoia." I guess the l is silent?
