A couple weeks ago when he posted on Facebook in support of trans people seemed a lot more like what I'd seen from him in the past, this is honestly surprising to me. Maybe it shouldn't be, but ultimately I tend to be pretty optimistic about individual people. It's just how I am. He's a drunk with brain problems who posts whatever the nicest people to him want him to post right now. He's also got a limited future income stream and the cynic in me thinks that maybe he's measuring that. Who knows.
