I'm up to Futaba's palace in Vanilla and I got a P5R preorder as an Xmas gift. Is it true Atlus has some sort of exclusivity deal with Sony and the main Persona games? Because Persona 4 Golden on Steam or any non-dead console would make tons of money. Persona 5, too but mainly thinking of P4G. So many people are missing out on the best Persona game because of this bullshit. Remember when Capcom had an exclusivity deal with Nintendo but then Resident Evil 4 was a huge success so they just said gently caress you and ported it to everything? Atlus should do that.

Keep in mind that P5 was delayed for more than a whole year after deciding that the game should also be released on PS4. Atlus isn't exactly a bastion for making older games work on newer hardware.

Knowing what I know about Persona 5's development I really doubt that any of its many delays were actually due to the PS4. The biggest delay was due to the 2011 earthquake after which the game was pretty much entirely re-written and re-structured.
