one positive is that medical masks and filter masks will be more popular in europe, which is sweet. maybe i can wear/force others to wear masks when they're sneezing or coughing in the subway without looking like a psychopath

Like for an N95 mask to work well it needs to have a properly measured fit and it's not exactly comfortable to breathe through when it has a good seal. I have worn them, also those that protect against tuberculosis and stuff. any mask is better than nothing, and it generally looks dope. A lovely mask won't stop the heavy stuff though ha ha

Eh, you have to consider that lovely poorly fitting PPE can be bad if it causes someone to act as if it's working. Like imagine a bunch of people coughing through poorly fitting/filtering masks because they think hey, the mask will catch my doom flu when it's in fact doing less work than just sneezing into a tissue and using some hand sanitizer.

Read your mask grades guys, N95 and P100 is what you will need. Even then for total safety I'd go for a fitted mask. What is Comrad trip's communicabilty? Or is it known yet?

If I were to wear one here in the US people would freak out and keep their distance from me, even though it'd be me protecting myself from them. I always thought the masks were to help stop the people wearing them from infecting others - not preventing. Since the wet particles will stick to the inside of the mask instead of settling on other people/clothes/handrails etc.

A basic sunrise suit will do okay if you upgrade it with rubberized fabric and combine it with a gas mask, but you're really gonna want to have an sp-99m for the best biological anomaly protection. The basic sp-99 will work, but it isn't as puncture resistant as the military model.
