If anything that list from Parnas is another reason for Republicans to can witnesses and black bag everything as much as possible, right? They've already decided that Trump is going to be acquitted even if White Republican Jesus Himself came down from the great gated community in the sky and promised to give them all solid purestrain gold AR-15s if they convicted Trump. The House could send more Impeachment articles about it (and they should) but I'm worried that people would just construe that as sour grapes and memory hole the entire affair as more partisan bickering.

I was really hoping that graham would be involved somehow. Trump admin was given every chance to be there. There were republicans led by Devin Nunes that was involved in the scandal as the lead gop member during the hearings. I have a feeling this is going to be the continuation of a very terrible problem in this country. The republicans don't care about anything.

There is no need to send anymore impeachment articles. They have forced the GOP to basically endorse crime. They will be able to bash every Congressman, Senator and Trump with a ton of votes and soundbites. They will have these votes around their necks until they die. It will encourage the blue wave in the Fall. It reeks of a mixture of being high on your own supply and looking at short term victories in lew of losing the war.

I hope State Election Departments are preparing for the attack. I predicted he'd wait until after the election to start making GBS threads things up, but someone else made a good point. Once he's acquitted in the Senate, there's absolutely no reason not to go full bore with election rigging right away. I mean, he's literally immune to investigation or prosecution. If you have this kinda power, why wouldn't you use it to rig the elections and ensure you remain immune to investigation or prosecution?
