FOr people who don't know, cordyceps sinensis is the fungal caterpillar. It is a fungus that grows in a caterpillar kills it and bursts out a big spore rod thing like the chest-buster from Aliens. The spore rod is long and rigid and erect though, like a big dong. So it is worth its weight in gold in China as part of their 'traditional medicine' because since it is long, rigid, and erect... it makes your dick long, rigid, and erect with magic.

Lol of course NYC, LA, and San Fran have unrivaled varieties of "foreign foods", but lol you sound like nobody I would ever want to travel with because their are plenty of small towns and cities that have great non-homogenized ethnic food. poo poo, I found a great authentic sichuan restaurant in Edmond, OK of all places. Nowadays with Yelp it's incredibly easy to find these places, but you sound like you might be someone who " doesn't do apps"

 I was asking why and all I got was the standard good for healthy. Edit: ok Kaifeng nurse says it 'is a tonic for kidneys and lungs' 'stops bleeding' and ofc is 'good for man'. Many Chinese restaurants in America have a public menu with typical Americanized food and an authentic menu for Chinese people. You can usually tell if there is one based on the number of Chinese people eating there. The menu will be entirely in Chinese and will not be advertised. They will probably pretend there is no Chinese menu or refuse to give it to you unless you chat with the staff in Chinese. This is done to avoid bad reviews or refund requests from people that are used to sweet and sour chicken that would be horrified by stuff like offal dishes. Ethnic food has exploded in popularity and restaurants in major cities often open up their entire menus to everyone now but I would still say a majority have the secret menus.
