February 12th the EU partially removed Cambodia from a preferential trade deal in response to increasing humanitarian abuses under his regime. The treaty removed tariffs for developing countries assuming they upheld human rights, and losing access to the EU market like that is a massive blow to Cambodia's economy. Hun Sen already had to forcibly quash citizen protests recently, and there's going to be a lot more discontent for him to deal with if the economy takes a hit. He did this to earn good will with the EU and US to get trade privileges again by showing he's really a nice humanitarian

Lol I went into work today feeling like absolute dogshit after starting with a cough at 1pm yesterday. We usually have about 12 people there on the weekend in my area. We have 5 today, including me. Everyone else was out sick with the flu. It's been years since I've had the flu and it fuckin blows. I can only imagine what it's like when your lungs are filled with fluid with coronavirus, and you can't go to the Dr because everything is at capacity.
