I want to get back to my current game of EU4 where I'm the Aztecs and I'm constantly attacking Spanish, English, and Portuguese colonies. It's like just after 1580 right now and my Aztec empire stretches almost unbroken along the Atlantic Coast from modern day Columbia to the province of Manhattan. Spain and Portugal both have decent colonies going in Brazil and Argentina respectively, but I haven't gone after them yet. I am focused on driving them out of America and upper South America. The Caribbean will belong to my glorious Aztec nation and so will all of the Americas eventually!

Hey all, I can't remember: Did Obama actually run a progressive campaign? Or was he just viewed as more progressive than Hillary Clinton? Because obviously his admin was a disaster in terms of achieving progressive goals in government, but was that ever at any point his stated intent?

cargo cult posted:ive only read blood meridian and no country and that was before i did any drugs tbh I’ve read all of Cormac McCarthy and No Country For Old Men is my least favorite of all his stuff. Coen Brothers were much less forthcoming with information in the film vs. what Cormac gives in the book. it’s still Cormac which means the book is better than 99.7% of other literature.

i should read some actual literature. i used to be so good at verbal reasoning but MDMA scrambled my brains like a pair of eggs tbh. i used to get like 99% on every bell curve but after undergrad all i could could manage was like a 164 on the LSAT

He was slightly more left than Bush and did not feel that all browns should suffer. This was a very progressive stance for the time.

Then he got the nom and it turned out he was a fascist. whoopsie doo!
