So, uh, I was looking at the number the UK government says is appropriate for herd immunity, which is 60%. ... so that's 6.6*6 million people that need to be sacrificed to SARS-2 to appease it. Is the plan literally built on numerology?

also if britain can just be rid of a lot of old people it'd make budgeting much easier, old people are very expensive and they should be passing down most of their wealth and assets anyway to create new tories literally saying 'yeah your old relatives are going to have to go' was probably not super smart though

There's absolutely a geopolitical underpinning to this approach.
