it takes so much effort on my part not to rub my chud family members’ faces in trump idiocy, telling them “look at this, this is what you voted for and support.” (also “you should be ashamed” and “you morons” etc etc.) I don’t want to alienate them from the kids who don’t understand the situation and still like them and some tiny speck of me still thinks some sort of family interaction is good for them. seems like a maturity thing. I’ve had outbursts in the past at them but have exercised some restraint now. but it’s really really hard. how do other goons handle it?

See if your community opened up testing to anybody based on suspect symptoms. I probably should... I am in Massachusetts outside of Boston but not too far. I looked around on the internet and it pretty much says call your doctor and they will tell you if you aren't dying don't go to the hospital. I don't think there are any testing locations besides there right now.

the chuddier parts of my family have some correct diagnoses ("my boss is as a loving criminal for trying to mess with my hours," "the bank is screwing me over cause I've got not other options," "why's everything so cheap and falls apart, let's make it better here at home I'll pay more") but absolutely horrendous conclusions about those diagnoses that include the wall, free markets etc. my liberal relatives live in a complete make believe world and have no convictions moment to moment
