Going to be weird having all these people die and no funerals for them. I wonder if it'll change how people grieve permanently. Can't fly down to bury your grandma or scatter her ashes, can't get to the hospital to be there with grandpa, just a bunch of vanished relatives. Maybe in 18 months people'll be able to get together and have a memorial or wake, but then again it's entirely possible nobody'll be able to afford to travel. We're all going to come out of this traumatized, and I suspect we will not be able to acknowledge or cope with that trauma as a society, which means we'll all be dealing with it on an individual basis instead which will not work.
