Airbnb style rentals are cool when they're like someone's spare apartment over the garage or whatever, or someone's beach condo in the winter, and have made my work travel to cities where there's nothing between the giant expensive business hotels and the collapsing crime filled sleaze motels a lot more pleasant, but these Airbnb landlords with a million mortgages deserve worse than bankruptcy for sure.

im not gonna defend airbnb as a whole but ive used it a ton for the last 3 yrs and im staying in one now when it works out youre supporting artists and grannies and young peeps buying their first home when it doesnt u got speculators and cold blooded landlords but its rlly the hotels theyre loving over &hotels are the evolved form of rent seekers
