are il-6 inhibitors still the best/unobtainable approach, or has estrogen been working as an il-6 inhibitor-lite?

Cuba has an antiviral drug that was also trialled in China and Italy, the main difference i can find between that one and the american ones is that after trying the medicine from the land of freedom, China apparently built a factory for it and threw the remdesivir in the trash.

Nearly as overlooked as Joe Mauer
what is happening now in health care policy is the equivalent of Sandy Hook. If the medical community and citizens in general don't act after this to divorce money and politics from health care then they never will.

There is no incremental improvement if every 20 years monumental chaotic events will wipe out decades of health care policy like how to run studies or create vaccines.

loving horrid.

lots of good C-SPAM disinfo on the last few pages. this is the remdesivir study, results are not out yet, but gilead said it passed the primary endpoint, which is time to recovery (note: not mortality). the trial was double blinded, placebo controlled, unlike previous attempts to juice the stock price. not much is known without the results being released, but my prior is that the clinical effect will be small.
