I think that some people are a little too nihilistic and fatalist when it comes to poo poo like this. If the US is going to really hit a point where we have hundreds of thousands of dead Americans every month, that's not going to be able to be swept away with convenient propaganda and ideology. That document leak today is pretty sobering, IMO. A society doesn't just go on like everything is normal if it sees an acceleration in mortality like that for even six months. Not saying it's going to be -better-, but we're going to exit this year a qualitatively different society than we entered it, politically and economically. One way or another.
