I don't understand how their community manager managed to completely overlook researching the site beforehand, especially since they claimed to not even know what 4chan was, so they just kinda blindly decided this would be a good idea on a site they had no exposure to. It wasn't a mistake, multiple people warned them what 8chan was and they just blew them off. It was a deliberate tactic for attention and to court awful people.

Finished games this year: Ori + the will of the wisps (fantastic) Hollow Knight (fantastic) Space Haven (good premise but poorly balanced, get to a point pretty early where you have every single thing you could want) XCOM: Chimera Squad (not very good, poorly optimized, tries to be too cute)

As a chronic non-finisher of video games I actually managed to knock out a few during coronavirus madness Days Gone - totally badass game Death Stranding - best game ever Hollow Knight - 2nd best game ever And am currently trying to finish but am not particularly invested in and will probably drop the second the Last of Us Part Deux comes out: Persona 5 FF7 Remake

2020 gaming so far completed donut county: epic anodyne 2: game of the decade prob one of my favorite games ever blasphemous: really good, amazing art frog detective 1: epic getting over it: amazing, surprisingly not frustrating at all, zen like not completed mhw iceborne: crashes cant play, looking forward to being able to play it sekiro: really really good maybe my favorite from soft combat but got distracted through no fault of the game and will have to go back to it terraria again: still good, new patch distracted me from sekiro but then i got distracted from it by kenshi kenshi: goty, maybe should be in next section tho cant complete tarkov: goty someone made a game specifically for me and my likes animal crossing: goty eu4 again pubg still warzone a little its ok

actually what i have been spending most of my time with in the last couple months is the persistent DnD world i got into, my dragonborn paladin has already gotten laid, and later was threatened with permadeath and full erasure of her existence from memory, at level 3, but i survived anyway, so now i'm level 5 like a month early and it is pretty fuckin dope

I made a spreadsheet of games because I read too much last year and finished too few games, also I had some games languishing for years that I hadn't finished (Dying Light, Witcher 2, Mass Effect 3) and wanted to just get some finishing in. I haven't done great but I've made some progress. I also rated the games out of 20. RE3 vita 16 Yakuza 0 pc 20 Xcom 2 classic difficulty wotc pc 20 Witcher 2 pc 15 Mass Effect 3 pc 17 Dishonored pc 16 Dying Light pc 18 Sayonara Wild Hearts pc 16 Yakuza 1 ps4 18 I'm about to finish Bloodborne which is a 20/20. 3/4 of the way through FF7R which is about 19/20 so far. Shitcanned Life is Strange 2. Playing a bunch of other games at the moment too.

This time last year I had finished 25-30 games but this year I only played FFXIV from January to April so I have only completed a pathetic like 10 games in 2020 and I haven't even finished XIV!!
