If they're kept out of light and direct heat, they'll probably last longer than expiration. esp sort of canned or dried goods and grains of that nature. if you can, put dried goods into sealed containers, poo poo should last many years. frozen stuff is more iffy yeah i would cycle out frozen stuff in under a year. expiration matters a bit more for directly perishable goods like cream cheese or milk and poo poo like that.

I went to the dentist in Tucson for a bad toothache I've been sitting on since the plague started and the waiting room was packed with people about 30/70 mask wearing. I was like wtf receptionist nobody is wearing a mask and the answer was "masks are encouraged but not required." I waited outside in the 110F heat and ruminated on just how rucked we are lol
