There is no stopping wave 2 now, this is the calm before the storm. I really have no idea how people will respond, another forced lockdown is going to be loving nuts. But also an order of magnitude more deaths is going to be horrifying too. It's gonna be bad and people are going to totally lose their poo poo either way. We thought we saw panic buying but just wait until cases skyrocket, the national response is just throw hands in air, and states start to go bankrupt. We will be on our own, no hyperbole.

Death comes for us all, whether you fear it or not doesn't matter.

So all your reluctance to embrace America will give you is dying old due to a heart attack as opposed to dying in 2020 by slowly choking to death.

Good choice, all in all.

More than a third of Americans misused cleaners and disinfectants to try to prevent infection by the coronavirus, according to a survey taken shortly after President Donald Trump publicly asked whether injecting such products could treat COVID-19.

Washing food with bleach, using household cleaning or disinfectant products on bare skin, and intentionally inhaling or ingesting these products were some of the most commonly reported “high-risk” practices in a May 4 online survey of 502 U.S. adults, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported.

Some 39% of people surveyed reported intentionally engaging in at least one high-risk practice not recommended by the CDC to prevent coronavirus infection, including using bleach to clean food or misting the body with a disinfectant spray. Four percent drank or gargled with diluted bleach solutions, soapy water or disinfectants.

I’ve been doing this too, and at this point I probably have about a year’s worth of supplies. I’d get more here and there but everything I buy seems to have an expiration date one year out, so I’m kinda at a loss as to what to do.

If they're kept out of light and direct heat, they'll probably last longer than expiration. esp sort of canned or dried goods and grains of that nature. if you can, put dried goods into sealed containers, poo poo should last many years. frozen stuff is more iffy yeah i would cycle out frozen stuff in under a year. expiration matters a bit more for directly perishable goods like cream cheese or milk and poo poo like that.

about 1-2 weeks from now it'll be picking back up steadily due to mother's day, then spacex rocketship to the moon come memorial day infections start really sinking in

One thing I've been wondering, when they find a positive antibody test with no symptoms,, is that counted as a "new case?" Because it's just as likely to be an old recovered case
