he probably does have a recording, abusers often coerce them from their victims during the initial reconciliation after an event, usually recorded unknowingly. this is part of why two party consent to recording is a thing, not that laws are real

I'll miss it too, this is one of the few social forums (I mean, really the only social forum) where there is an aggressive stance against hivemind thinking and people being pendatic/obtuse in discussions here. I really don't know what's going to happen but I'm ready.

I opened this account when I was 19 because I enjoyed lovely photoshops of Goatse making GBS threads on the Twin Towers like any other goon. can't be overstated. This community has little if anything to do with Lowtax anymore, as some kind of central figure or even a participant.

I've made a ton of real-life friends from here, and I love posting and participating in this community. I also can't loving stand Reddit or Twitter for actually trying to discuss things, and having to put up with their garbage moderation and communities. I really hope that Lowtax just fucks off and hands over the keys to someone else. There are a lot of people who could run it better, and are actively engaged with the community and actually like it here.

Reddit isn't too bad; it just has a serious issue of people on the subs getting into hivemind thinking (like how The Thing is an underrated masterpiece on /r/movies...true, but it had like dozens of threads about it every week at the peak) which SA has successfully stomped out.

/r/relationships and /r/AmITheAsshole are honestly just peak loving goon stories from 2005 which is an awesome throwback for those of us from that era. It loving sucks they took away "sort by controversial" because holy poo poo could you find some goony gold there.

Twitter, I don't know, I never really engaged it.
