I think the designers has soundly slotted the Tau into the ranged army category and therefore don't really put much effort into melee options for them.

Just get the 8 because they're cool. They all move at three times the normal speed. Farsight even has an ability called 'Way of the Blade' lol.

What could that mean? -Extra sprue added to existing Intercessor kit to give them more gear options? -Extra sprue sold separately as a Heavy Intercessor Upgrade Kit to give Intercessors more gear options? -New kit entirely, but they re-used the existing Intercessor poses because this is all done in CAD and it was easier to copy and paste the existing Intercessor body pieces into the sprue design file than make new poses? (That lone Intercessor that comes with the Getting Started with 40k magazine has the same pose as one of the three Easy to Build Intercessors, so they've done this before....) -New kit entirely, body is actually a slightly different pose and I just can't tell because of how blurry the pic is?

I'm assuming Assault Intercessor Sergeants will be able to take Thunderhammers come the codex release so i'm going ahead and modeling mine with one (since I'm unlikely to be playing an in-person game much before October anyway).

Unless you think you're going to assemble and paint the entire squad before October, I'd probably wait until the new codex is out. Even then I'd probably say it would be worth it to wait just so you don't have to remove it if it's not an option (or curse if it is and you decided not to).

So the sword of the new Primaris Judiciar is a Book of the New Sun reference, right? The main character is a torturer/executioner (from a deeply far distant future) who wields a massive sword that’s flat at the end called Terminus Est.

The other end is a couple layers of yellow ink blended into the green and finished with ivory edge highlights.

The one I bought came with a bit that's perfect sized for barrels already but thanks I just need something for magnetizing my Plagueburst Crawlers and Plague Marines. And eventually Blightlord Terminators. But with the bits I have, i would need to drill like 10 different holes to make it wide enough for my magnets to fit. And they're almost surely too wide for Plague Marine arms. But I think I found some 1/32" magnets and a bit at Home Depot, so

Yeah I got the same drill recently and it did need a few drops of oil. Luckily had some Hoppe's. I used 2x1mm for Space Marine head/wrists, 3x2mm for arms/backpacks. I even managed to drill the holes to magnetize a combi-bolter without ruining it!Sab669 posted:But I think I found some 1/32" magnets and a bit at Home Depot, so 1/32 might actually be too small, unless you mean 1/16 x 1/32 (2x1mm)? But even those might be too weak. I tried some from Amazon and they couldn't reliably keep Tactical Marines arms/backpacks secured. I ended up buying bigger 3x2mm magnets and those worked great. The first I bought, ended up too weak to keep Space Marines held together https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074SYK3H4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The ones that ended up working https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0819JZF66/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/07/27/warhammer-40000-new-starter-sets-sighted So GW has announced the starter sets and any and all rumors about those turned out to be false as it's still Necron vs Marines. But at the same time it looks like a good opportunity to grab some of the Indomitus units in a cheaper way. Also reaffirm my theory earlier that the teaser from a while ago was for the multipart Bladeguards. So we have three different starter sets; Recruit, Elite and Command. All adding an increasing number of models on either side. The command one is probably the most interesting one because it also comes with non cardboard terrain. None of the starter sets have either of the two big sprues, with the Bladeguard, Eradicators etc. on the Space Marine side and the big walker and Plasmancer on the side of the Necrons. But between them they have all the other sprues from Indomitus.
