That’s the kind of threat parents make when the children are being incorrigible. And they work - they force you to reflect on how much worse off you could be.
This is what President Trump is doing. He is being the adult in the room. He is saying that if the Democrats are going to try and game the system, and exploit the coronavirus, insisting on childish absurdities like mail in ballots, no proof of citizenship, with dead people, illegals and felons voting.....

Conservatism can never fail, it can only be failed, so if Trump's administration is a disaster well that's just proof that he wasn't really a conservative, and what we need is a REAL conservative to set things right.

The thread devolves into arguing about whether this was a case of a poor white lady viciously attacked by a thuggish black woman or an evil Karen committing assault with a cane on a noble anti-masker who happens to be black. Without warning, Walmart *once again* changed their enter/exit policy and he had to walk in 100 degree heat, with CHF all the way to the other end of the store, because there were no parking spaces up that way at all.
Then they sprung the “newly implemented after being gone” mask jazz on him, despite signs plainly stating that people with health conditions are exempt...and he’s as ‘exempt’ as it gets.
Affirmative action mask police had him so upset that he was about to give up and go all the way back to the car without getting what he needed, *only* available there.
Something inside me snapped.
It’s one thing to bully me around, but him?
Totally different and I scared the herd behind me with my rebellion.
Before they could lay paws upon me, I stomped into the store and hunted down a manager, who came out, saw what was happening and let us in.
My old man was shaking and beaten by this power-tripper treatment.
I will NOT stand for that, no matter what happens to me.
So, anyway, there’s the backstory for some of my attitude.
