All that is true, but ignores the fact that eddings openly recycled plot point from one book to the next on the same drat series. Like, books 3 and 4 of the malloreon are the exact same book in a slightly different setting. Hes the DM that only knows inns and goblin caves. There might be so e differences from adventure to adventure, but you know some ale is gonna be drank and some goblins are going to bleed
