yea, im done with them. Clear AF that Trump has become the new normal and these motherfuckers just plan on moving ever so slightly to the left of Trump and call it progress. And the constant parade of Celebrities is just insulting, especially as a Black Man (and I loving love Billy Porter in Pose).

If I could get a neutral position on something it’d be great, but I don’t think that will ever happen. It doesn’t help that anytime I go into my boss’ office that he has foxnews.com on his browser and all his conversations quote something from that website.

He also hosed up his response to the 2008 housing crisis using the troubled asset relief program to keep the landlords and banks afloat instead of working directly with renters The government gave financial institutions a good deal on toxic assets (houses), sat on them for 6 years until the market recovered, and then sold them back to the same financial institutions. OK on gays while doing nothing to stop the concentration of wealth

So now I'm starting to wonder if the Dems want to win at all. They spent last week telling off the leftists and turning to the center to try and draw in moderates and never-Trump Republicans, even backing off on cutting fossil fuel subsidies. Then on the last night of the convention they talk up how Joe wrote the AWB and brought up the only issue that will alienate the center and right faster than abortion as a policy plank.

If it makes you feel any better, it literally does not matter who wins we will all be subject to the devastation of climate change and it is too late to reverse what's happening. Greenland's ice is melting faster than can be replaced with snowfall. Once that fully melts ocean levels are going to be around 20 feet higher than they are now. Fires are raging in Siberia at levels that we didn't expect until 2050, and we're going to have a blue ocean event (full arctic ice melt) within the next few years. We get to watch billions die over our lifetime regardless of whether Trump or Biden wins in the fall.

there is a great deal of information on the inhumanity of the United States' immigration policy going back even before Barack Hussein Obama. There is a tremendous amount of material on the expected impacts to low-lying regions of the world and a great deal of history on the behavior of human beings when faced with existential crises such as those that will happen under climate change. I invite you to educate yourself on this and won't be responding to any other 4-month old re-reg's "trawling"

Trump sucks and is an idiot, but at least stocks somehow keep going up so I’m kinda happy with my TSP account. Plus he’s republican so my military paycheck isn’t going to take a hit so that’s cool, promotions will probably keep up fairly well.
