My girlfriend routinely asks if we can move out of state. No! She doesn't like the seasons and she wants some place that's warm and sunny most of the year. Hell no! California, fires; Florida, hurricanes; Georgia, the actual mouth of hell; the Caribbean, hurricanes and equatorial; Texas, literally Texas; Colorado, okay maybe Colorado.

While we're on the prison tangent, I'm going to hearken back to LF days and recommend The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander to anyone who either doesn't know or wants to know more about the prison-industrial complex. It's an excellent overview and will make you extremely angry.

Currently 4 major fires burning over 175k acres with almost no containment. i70 is closed.
