I think he said in an interview that he saw the shadow and thought it was an overhead camera, and didn't actually know what it was until it had passed him. Got off the bike shaking like a leaf.

Huh? That link doesn’t show the footage at all from the discord link and also you can see in those videos that the on-bike footage is maybe 60fps max, as when they slow it down it’s very choppy and the bikes travel huge distances between every frame. That discord video would have to be taken with a camera running like 1000fps to get that slow and that smooth.

The man did 8 or 9 films (including three Marvel action movies) without ever once revealing his diagnosis, getting surgery and chemo between filming. Which of us could say we would do half as much work as he did while slowly dying, let alone keeping it a complete secret?

Other threads that know more about how movies are filmed have concluded that people working on those movies almost certainly did know. Frankly, the fact that everyone respected Boseman's wish to keep it a secret is even more impressive to me.
