Also video game weapons have shown differences in accuracy and power for a while so "Deadshot has a sniper rifle" would differ him from "King Shark has a chaingun."

I wonder if Gameplay wise this is going to be like the multiplayer mode from Resident Evil 3. As in a team of four players on one side, each playing different characters with different skill sets. And then one other player on his own who controls waves of mook enemies that the Squad have to work past to get to a boss Justice League character. It would give them scope to have a suicide squad that is more than just four villains.

So back on the King Shark using an LMG thing, I think I have an explanation. To my eye, it looks like each member of the squad has two weapons. Deadshot's got his wrist guns and sniper rifle, Boomerang has well, the boomerang and the shotgun, Harley has her baseball bat and pistols, and therefore Shark has the LMG and well, being a motherfucking shark! (It would also fit with them having one long range and one short range weapon apiece).
