Depending on how awful CoD shotguns are, I guess it's entirely possible that the only way you'd ever realistically tag someone with them would be by setting up ambushes. And the best companion by far is the wizard lady whose only purpose is to savagely insult all the other awful companions 24/7.

How many drat rogues do they give you And yeah I just met Vivienne, and while I'm not entirely sold on her stuck-up noble persona, it's certainly better than Sera. I don't know if I'll swap Solas out for her, though. Actually what am I saying, she can take Varric's place. I don't mind him too much as a character, but this is a case of 2 Many Rogues

My impression of really high level FPS people is that really value being able snap their aim to a target super quickly and accurately. So a weapon where they don't really get to utilize those skills, or getting killed by someone who doesn't have to use those skills, maybe isn't as fun for them as it is for me, who needs to be in shotgun range to hit anyone in multiplayer regardless of what weapon I'm using

Generally speaking, you can also just drag it straight over into your new library folder. I mean, the Steam client won't be able to tell that you have the game installed until you actually try to run it, but it shouldn't cause any technical issues as such.MarcusSA posted:Haha thanks. It's broken and glitchy as gently caress, the story is worse then GoT S8 and unless I was mistaken there's actual cutscenes missing it expected you to have seen because suddenly the NPCs are talking about major important details that were never mentioned. I beat it by cheating and giving myself inf heal potions and even then the combat was a slog.

Install Steam, point the library to the location of the folders, it'll find them either on boot of Steam or on first boot of the game, good to go.

Be prepped for letting it run for a while as HDD read time is close to 100 MB/s. ~250 gigs took about 30 mins for me. They have a guide that covers how you want to do it if you're talking about more than five games. Strix is right that you can do it all in Steam, but it's a lot of click through. I wouldn't recommend deleting as they said; I just moved over the folders listed. You should move this folder as well: <SteamInstallFolder>/steam/games. It has all of your desktop icons. If you didn't snag this folder, you can just "Verify Game Cache" to get them back, but that is very much a pain in the rear end to do for your entire library. If this is for a fresh install, make sure you move your save games, too! There're not stored in the main Steam folder, but all over your user file. For example, I had games that saved in "My Games" and "Documents" and carried those over, but this didn't cover my Total Warhammer 2 saves, for some reason.
