The only reason that states were allowed to delay primary elections is because states get set their own dates for primaries. Even then it was somewhat legally dubious to do it. Trump getting covid doesn't really change anything that merits delaying the election. Even if he's dead, ballots are already being cast.

If all 6 of the Republicans currently representing it got wiped out by that wild swing, that would put the Dems one seat shy of controlling the House for the first time since 2010. It could also potentially take out their two GOP state Senators, putting the Dems at only a -4 disadvantage there. One of them only won their last election by 3%, the other by ~14%.
