What's with GoPro? It went up 30% today. Only noticed, because that zero commission app called Bux Zero have me a free share of theirs.

I'm getting involved in PSTH because the market is pretty up and I want to be holding something while I wait for it to pull back. I hope this SPAC doesn't burn me like SPAC's have burned people the other two times in the past two weeks!

I don't think they're supposed to announce for a while though.

Every share of PSTH has (at least) 2/9 of a warrant attached as well. Keep that in mind when trying to value it.

GME is up 20% because they put out a press release that they’re entering a strategic partnership with Microsoft. The strategic partnership is, they bought office 365.

Splinter posted:This is in addition to the warrants PSTH U holders received when it split into PSTH and PSTH WS? We bumbled through this a couple pages back, but yes. It's actually slightly more complicated because there's a set pool of warrants to hand out after merger, so theoretically if a bunch of people cashed out, the remaining commons owners could get even more partial warrants. In any case, initial units came with 1/9 warrant. After merger date, commons will receive an additional 2/9 warrant. NAV for commons is $20. Warrants can be exercised for $23. So warrants currently reflecting a ~$30 price, commons about $24 if you include the value of the post-merger warrants. Warrants look overpriced, but I've been dumb and wrong about this before! Supposedly it's loving with people's broker dashboards too in terms of calculating cost basis.

DPZ burned me today big time, but it happens. I really can't believe they missed on revenue. Next I'm I'm going to go for VIX calls that expire after the election because I think it's likely Trump will try to claim the election was fraudulent and refuse to concede.

That was me, and it was half-in, and I got burned pretty much completely (unless DPZ gains $16 in one day tomorrow, lol) but I'll try to get out with whatever I can at this point. It wasn't a huge amount of money (relatively to most people) so no problem. If someone could just inverse every play I make that I call out, they'd be inconceivably rich considering how I have an amazing knack for making the wrong call every single time I enter a trade. This means you should inverse my Trump-won't-leave-office VIX call, naturally. Thank me later. edit: Thank me, and pay off the rest of my car loan. gonna post this for like the dozenth time ... not to mention when i bought at $10 and sold at $16. And I'm still a little bitter about selling LSCC. My cost basis for XLNX is 85.55 and I have a January $100 call that I'm like 250% up on, and was thinking about actually exercising at expiration. Don't think it's gonna be a 60% premium like the redhat buyout, but XLNX was such an easy buy. The huawei stuff is pretty much inconsequential.
