breadtube is the same phenomenon as the podcast grifters that all sprung up after chapo hit it big nominally "left" content makers trying to educate/raise class consciousness through a variety of approaches, from artsy fartsy to dry historical recounting, it's not evil or bad or anything, just the people doing the work at the gates to get others inside as someone who is always trying to radicalize basically every person I meet, I've used a few videos that i know will resonate with people when it doesn't seem like they'll check out a podcast and especially won't read a pamphlet

Even if you think they're all grifters, it's hard to name people that are overall "bad" for the left. Maybe the turn your brain off and be mad types like jimmy dore or jim sterling. Krystal ball for sure. Skeptic youtube was an absolute disaster for the right. The celebration of brain drain led to the dumbest people possible live casting the destruction of their own lives. It made the teens who watched them cringe profusely and not want to talk about it.

Thirdly Jimmy Dore has helped radicalize at least two of my American acquaintances especially due to his focus on current political events and how you are getting screwed, but with proper leftist framing. Again low bar to clear.

Okay, so first point: Jimmy Dore told people to not bother with donations or coming to his live shows (which he does unlike other certain bread tubers cough cough) the second the corona crisis got bad like in April. If Hillary was in office she not only would have bombed Yemen just as much as Trump, but she would have American military involved in at least a couple more countries during the last 4 years than it is now, and there would definitely be a lot more dead socialists in South America. A Trump re-election is the only chance some countries have at safety and security in the years to come.
