I don’t know how any PAC-12 team gets in with only 7 games played. Every other conference would have to have lots of 2 loss teams.

My question with the Big Ten is how many games they’re going to get in given their protocols and their tight window to get the games in. If a lot of teams experience what Wisconsin is experiencing now, and Ohio State only ends up playing four or five games and maybe beats Northwestern or whoever in a farce of a conference championship game, do they still get in? As far as the PAC-12 is concerned, I think a 7-0 champ( 8-0 counting that CCG, I guess) would get in, but I strongly doubt anybody ends up playing that full slate, or that anybody manages to run the table regardless. Yea, I guess I figure the Big 10 will adjust their protocols if it looks like it’s going to cost them a spot in the playoffs, but yea it is something to watch for.

I hate Ohio State with every breath in my body but that's a great team, if you want to just beam them into the playoffs I'm totally fine with that.

But on the other hand, maybe the playoff committee does vote in a 5-0 Ohio State, since a) it’s Ohio State and b) the alternative is getting screamed at by the Big Ten and its media proxies that they’re effectively being punished for valuing player safety more than the other conferences. This would simultaneously be a tremendously bad-faith argument and kind of a valid point.

7-0 Oregon or USC being dismissed for a 1-loss Georgia/ND/Clemson and getting a separate but equal NY6 bowl with Cincinnati is the best argument yet for an expanded playoff field.

Kentucky's defense is good. Never thought they could hold Georgia to 14 points. Unfortunately that was enough for Georgia. Trying to figure out Kentucky's offense is like trying to divide i by 0. Down 11 with 9 minutes left, no sign of hurry up, snapping the ball with under 10 on the play clock every play. You're in the game against the #5 team in the country, play like you want to win. I just don't understand.

Before this week I thought that Florida-Georgia would be a repeat of the Florida-Texas A&M game, where the best defense was keeping Florida’s offense off the field by running the drat ball. But Florida’s defense looked competent for the first time all year with starting NT Kyree Campbell making his season debut. All Florida’s defense has to be is competent if the offense continues to execute like it has all season.

that NT was awesome but keep in mind we also had 60% of our line combined for fewer than 300 career snaps last night. Our O Line was awful and green, and we will only know how much those are related later this season.
