It's a valid concern. One is the areas I ride is being logged right now and there are tons of sharp sticks laying around just waiting to get kicked up and penetrate your leg. When I ride with a buddy, I usually stay a little further behind to give what he's riding over time to fall back down. I also avoid riding too close to branches and logs, especially broken ones, just in case something happens like hitting a hole or rock that causes a miscalculation and you end up clipping it. There was a disturbing photo/video posted on thumper talk of a dirt biker getting a stick through his shin/ankle. Pierced his boot and straight through his foot. Found it. I had someone in front of me hit a big chunk of shredded truck tire right into my path the other day. I was able to avoid it because I was giving the guy space and paying attention, but it was a stern reminder to keep doing those things so I’m coming here to remind you goons to keep doing those things.
