Trump won't run in 2024, because there's too much chance for him to be shamed by failing in the primary. However for the next few years he will keep teasing that he could run because it helps the grifting.

Apraxin posted:Deadline was an hour ago, still waiting on confirmation of how many turned up: Georgia started the day with a little more than 10,000 votes remaining, they dropped a batch of 7000ish earlier, that batch get Biden his 4k lead. According this tweet about 600 of the outstanding ballots got in over the course of the day. That means if the final value of votes that got in before Close of Business is less than around 400, the margin exceeds the remaining vote and Biden officially wins Georgia, full stop. Aside from the legally mandated recount of course.

Dude is morbidly obese and currently ignoring Covid via a bevy of mystery drugs Between stress and other mental factors, a lack of access to Presidential healthcare, and the inevitable lingering effects of COVID-19, I imagine that as soon as Trump is out of the White House his health will nosedive hard and fast. It's easy to avoid the consequences of poor mental and physical health when you're the most powerful and - by virtue of the care you are given access to - de facto wealthiest human being on the planet. When you actually have to pay for treatments and care and people don't have a super vested interest in making sure you don't die or get crippled, it's a lot harder.

If they lose, he's safe but if they win he can be the power behind the throne.

CNN is never going to call it. With airports being half empty thanks to covid their normal audience has disappeared. They're getting the best ratings they've had all year, no way they do anything that would bring that to an end.

He will be bankrupt and/or in jail. If he's even alive. SDNY is coming for him, there's no shortage of federal prosecutors looking to make a name for themselves, he's millions of dollars in debt. One of his kids might run, but they have nowhere near the appeal to Trump's base, except maybe they'd vote for Ivanka.

Nope. Unless they were presorted to hold on to only Trump votes in the end for drama, Biden has consistently gotten ~80% of the votes since election day in Pennsylvania. For that to suddenly change now is so mathematically unlikely as to be functionally impossible.
