I think the whole point now is just going all out and casting doubt on the entire concept of voting in the country. That every election is rigged and fixed if they lose. Make the general public become skeptical of the results in any race. And if you stomp your feet and scream as loud as you can, you'll get your way eventually because no one wants to deal with crying adults that act like toddlers. All you hear is 'the election was rigged, illegal votes!' and if you ask for any real evidence or proof, none can be presented but they are SURE it happened because someone online said so.

The right understand, either explicitly or on an instinctual level, that they have no electoral future unless they abandon overt white supremacy. They're not willing to do that, so the only way to retain their power is to undermine the democratic process.

For the savvy that means depressing turnout and packing the court with friendly judges. For the common racist idiot, it means screaming to the high heavens that every election is rigged, even when they manage to win. Two sides of the same coin, working toward similar ends and with plausible deniability of each for the other.

Unless they moved out of the state entirely, that won't help Trump, and even then there's no way they will be able to invalidate enough votes to matter in just the few weeks they have.

A lot of these people were probably already caught at the precinct and handed a ballot with only statewide races. This isn't a weird trick they just thought of, it happens all the time.

Donald Trump just got a larger share of the non-white vote than any Republican President in like 50 years, in an election that saw the highest turnout in the last 100. If not for COVID, he probably would have won. So while you're right that they're not going to abandon white supremacy, you're wrong to think that they have to in order to win elections.

I honestly feel the big issue is... in the eyes of the public, now, Biden has won. There was an election, votes took a while to get counted, but Biden's gonna be President. That's the story. Even if the GOP could get the courts to give them the votes, that'd basically be declaring a coup, and while I once feared that could be the end result of the Trump Presidency... the will isn't there.

How do you reckon the prospects of the Democrats will improve over time?

It will all come down to what those people do when Trump isn't on the ballot. If the Democrats won by maximizing the turnout of their existing coalition, as I believe to be the case, while the Republicans narrowly lost while bringing new people into the party, then the Democrats are basically done until they can find new constituencies to vote for them - because they're not going to be able to get 100 year record turnout in every election. Like maybe turnout still favors them, but it is clearly not giving them the kind of advantage that a lot of people thought (including me! if you had told me the turnout of this election without giving me the result, I would have predicted a very good result for the Democrats).

I don't think that. But what will be let's say "interesting" to see is how this electorate looks once you reduce turnout. Is it going to be easier for Republicans to hang on to these voters, or easier for Democrats? Traditionally Republicans are more reliable voters, but maybe that will change now that they've got their Supreme Court and if Trump isn't on the ballot. On the other hand "this is the most important election of our lives" is going to be a tough sell after yet another four years of neoliberal austerity and no outlet for complete alienation from social and political life in this country for everyone who isn't a billionaire.

Here's something to think about : is it a coup if a few ultra-right stochastic terrorists drive their trucks through a crowd of people standing to vote in a few key precincts, kill a dozen or so people, scare tens of thousands of people in a concentrated dark blue area into fleeing without voting, the Republican gov/SoS refuses to allow any extension to voting because it's not legally required for them to do that, and the Republican nominee who was tacitly calling for such tactics assumes office as a result?

Hint: nope.

We know that God hears the prayers of his children and a lot of people are praying. There are always martyrs, but this is on such a grand scale I can't see him siding with baby-killing, child-raping satanists. There are lots of historical examples in the Bible of God delivering his people from their enemies when they repent from their sin and plead with him for help. God usually likes to wait until it looks like all hope is lost before he swoops in with his mighty power. He wants the credit, he wants everyone to remember that they need him, he wants to reward those who kept the faith.

His response “Well I can’t get involved because I can’t have them coming here burning my poo poo down”
Told him to get the gently caress out. Fucker.
-
don't make this comparison lightly, but when Jesus Christ came
The mob of people hated him even though he helped them, the state had him put to death though he broke no law, and they hung him along the likes of murderers and thieves even though he was perfect.
All because he had love in his heart, truth in his mouth, and convinced some people the world of man could be better than it was.
Jesus can never die, he will live forever in the hearts, minds, and actions of people to this very day. His words, ideas and character are in homes throughout the world and his impression on humanity is permanent. They thought they killed him with their hate but the immortalized him and empowered him the likes of which no one has ever rivaled.
Trump is no Jesus, and I am not religious, but the same mechanisms are at play.

My estimate is anywhere between 10m to 20 million votes for Biden were all some form of election fraud. It's possible that number is low, although I'd be shocked if it was high.
-
I've been dismayed locales around me that I know are Trump supporting businesses and churches have left their flags at full staff. This is a sad time for the republic.
-
For red controlled states, audit can be done even well into 2021 after Trump is back to WH. For blue controlled states, there won't be audit. They won't allowed it. The only way is to link them to criminal activities in those red states. Take for example, Nancy of commiefornia and Clinton of NY if successfully we proof that Dominion involvement, we can begin house cleaning those blue states. Simply elections won't save those states as too many sheep followers that vote blue even it means jumping of the cliff. We need to chop those head of snakes off. The rest of the bodies will die off. We also need to nullify that 230, big tech need to go down like gawker.
-
we don't need to prove anything. if we are scared of protecting white trump supporters because we don't want to be seen as racist, then the left would eat us for breakfast. we have black trump supporters and gay trump supporters. we don't need to go to the gay community and prove we love them. we accept people but we don't need to play by our enemy's rules or react to them.
-
We, the party of Trump, the constitution, and classical liberalism, believe in preserving the checks on our government provided by the constitution. We believe that we must protect our right to protect ourselves, to say our piece. We believe that you can do what you want, as long as it doesn't harm others. Essentially we are the true party of libertarianism, since the "libertarian party" of today is essentially a bunch of druggies who want their weed to be legal, which is fine, but that is literally the only thing they care about.
-
At best 50 mil. We got 50 states, about half are blue controlled which easily dump extra 1-3 mil per states more so for big commiefornia. So you're looking easily like additional fraudulent votes of 20-30mil for Biden. We don't even have to catch all, just a couple millions would flip Biden to jail. And as of now, all recounts will evaporate those couple of millions illegitimate votes easily. Once this is in the bag, those Dems will go to jail. And from there, we will take care their fate whether in jail or released - legally or illegally but definitely morally for traitors.
