A crochet hook (about 60 cents on ali) is a great tool to have around for re-stringing things btw

Wow, this stuff is cheap. It seems that this is poo poo American companies would sell that they had made in China anyway. I mean, isn't it just cutting out the middle man?

I should be getting 3 items in about 33 days. I hope.

aliexpress isn't perfect but it's way less shady than you might expect and many posters here have saved thousands of dollars this way, myself included :toot:

I never got anything from Ali that wasn't what I expected. But you need to set the right expectations and be aware that some things are going to be lies. A $5 flashlight isn't 10000 lumen, the battery that tops out at 3000mAh from LG isn't 9999mAh, and the impact wrench isn't even close to 500nm. Always check the reviews (ideally off-site) for anything expensive or intricate.

I recently ordered this one just to try it out. May make a fun stocking stuffer if it arrives in time. Seems to largely have NES games according to the listing.

I think someone posted this doesn't actually do PS1 games, what is the lowest cost handheld PS1 option? I saw the other one listed for $100 but that is simply more than I want to spend. At the very least, I'm tempted to just get into GBA games on a handheld, preferably something that is easy to load roms onto. Is it common to be able to reprogram the 1000 in 1 systems to have actually good games?

I figured this initially but I saw a headset with microphone for $10 and wanted to buy it to try it out. I have an old Microsoft set that's probably 15 years old and all of the plastic covering over the foam ear pads has flaked off. It works, but I could use a new one. If it doesn't work then oh well, it's just $10. I just hope it doesn't explode my laptop.

That gba sp-looking one I posted about earlier is actually pretty decent once you install cfw, and it's half the price, but no analog sticks

SD card update: I filled it with about 100gb of some crap I had laying around, recorded 30 minutes of video and tested the remaining space. Everything checked out, but it does seem to be glitchy now in the PC. More testing to follow.

Banggood offered to fully refund the :20bux: for the drill without any arguments. Which is fair because it's impossible to use as delivered, but I do feel bad because some kid will probably get beaten over something I can fix in 5 minutes.

Lol I was looking at this thing earlier too. I really don't need it now as I live in an apartment and have nothing to cut but projects immediately started popping up in my head when I saw it.

I dig get my Xiaomi compressor just this morning. It's really smaller and lighter than I expected, I guess your compressor will probably perform better. But it's small and self contained so I could just stick it in the glovebox and forget about it.

Anyone ever find any cheap on-the-ear bluetooth headphones? I wish I could find something EXACTLY like the Motorola S305s but they no longer make them. I have 3 pairs I've bought over the years and they only hold a charge for about an hour and a half now. The S305s have been my favorite headphones I've ever used and the most I ever paid was $21 for a set. I've seen people reselling them for $60-70 on Amazon or eBay so there seems to have been a market for them still - at least at one point. (They are not worth $60-70, of course)

I've bought a few sets of different Bluetooth headphones but they are either uncomfortable or did not sound great. :(
