Brexit mostly passed on the backs of pensioners, who are included in the C2DE 'lower class' band for some ungodly reason despite many of them being significantly more comfortable than a fair number of the ABC1 people who didn't like Brexit.

It won't be as bleakly funny as blocking off our own main food supplies, but it'll significantly accelerate our slide into political/economic irrelevance as Frankfurt, Dublin and Paris siphon away our finance and tech industries.
