Nice try. I once mocked demisexuals and people were all over me. I'm not touching any of these things for the rest of my life. Not falling for this again.

Skwirl posted:That's not a thing 99% of Americans have ever eaten or even seen or read about. Something from Wisconsin or Minnesota somewhere cold and gross. It's raw hamburger meat with a raw onion and that dude probably only knows about for the same reason I do, it's been doing the rounds the last few days because the states health department tweeted that it doesn't matter how small and local your butcher is they aren't healthy to eat.

A hamburger with grilled onion and a fried egg is loving delicious, why the gently caress would you skip the part where you cook it?

I had a look and it turns out there are huge amounts of British people that are convinced that our tiny cold island can be self sufficient... For contrast, here's my personal harvest this year after a few weeks of growing things:

The UK probably could become more agriculturally self sufficient but that would require effort and money rather than cutting off the EU subsidy money and not replacing it.

It would be funny for us to try to watch everyone get confused why they suddenly can't buy strawberries during winter.

You could build a load of those big greenhouses they have in kent what makes the tomatoes but the nimby crowd would definitely hate that even more than looking at wind turbines.

They're apparently pretty good but located in thanet and no-one gives a poo poo about thanet. Good luck trying to provide meat for the whole country though.

I see no reason the same logic could not be applied to cattle so we just have to grow cows vertically in large buildings, it's probably very easy and also a novel idea that nobody has thought of before and has no repercussions.

I still don't know what demisexual means. I assume it's related to pansexual and bisexual, but that's just a guess.

Parasite Eve 2 had this big animal (like the size of an elephant or so) that produced electricity. It was attached to a big battery and had no usable limbs and was probably blind and immobile. You murder it with bullets to shut down some force field or something and the lesson 13 year old me took away from that was "We should make cows like that" Immobile cow flesh cubes that can be stacked easily. Food goes in one port and waste comes out another. Splicer posted:Really? Lol (at demisexuals (I am mocking them)) You're going to get called a gatekeeper etc. Watch yourself. Skwirl posted:I still don't know what demisexual means. I assume it's related to pansexual and bisexual, but that's just a guess. It's not. Basically it's someone who can only be sexually attracted to someone once they have formed an emotional bond. In other words its a straight white cis person who wants to feel special and so they can claim they are a persecuted minority.

Skwirl posted:I still don't know what demisexual means. I assume it's related to pansexual and bisexual, but that's just a guess. I believe it refers to having what is essentially a highly conditional sex drive, so I suppose it would be partway towards asexuality. As asexuality certainly has common cause with LGBT people I don't really see a reason to be dismissive.

It's an asexual person who will gently caress under special conditions? Isn't that just being picky about who you gently caress? Feels insulting to asexual people. You're either an incel or a hot person with very specific standards.

I mean in the sense that I become straight when I am with someone of the opposite gender, I suppose. There are certainly people who would argue that.
