If a game need 5 years to develop, they may release after the generation ends. Quality has in size is a horrible thing, I hope we disable that idea. I want more short-ish games (about 20 to 30 hours long) that give me a great and lasting experience.

The best games are the ones you beat in about 12 hours but run through at a higher difficulty skipping all cutscenes and eventually you can just ace the whole thing in 3 hours. Bayonetta I'm looking at you

I'm not sure if AAA games taking 5 years to develop is necessarily a bad thing as theres definitely not a lack of games coming out. Theres more developers and a lot more people working on games these days so it's okay if theres only one final fantasy title per generation instead of three. Just means theres more time to play other things

Also it was my first Souls game so it's not like I had a ton of experience in the genre. The tendency can make the game hard in spots but in general it's quite easy, I guess I would say it doesn't feel cheap like some other Souls games. The enemy's animation tracking isn't as crazy.

gonna do a take. i dont get monster hunter. i tried world out on ps5 and just hosed around with the demo of Rise on switch and i dont get it, you're just hunting and killing and skinning innocent animals with badly designed weapons? feels like someone took the hunt quests from ff12 and made a game out of it but kept in all the insanely long and bad fights, added a flimsy story and a bunch of annoying cats, the worst pets, to the mix. but at least theres a dog type in rise, the best pets. anywho... back to bloodborne i go.

I had a 360 in college and i loved that console, i played it forever and ever until I got a PS3 and a gaming PC. Scalebound getting cancelled was the last time I literally even thought of X-box being in my future. Like.. I own a gaming PC, I will likely always own a gaming PC. There is simply no reason for me to ever own an X Box again unless they dramatically alter their own business model.

You can try some different weapons but the game is built around grinding challenging monsters with wildly strange hit boxes. (and yes i did this while an ex-gf watched me and i think thats half the reason that ended) also cats can gently caress off, they are the worst pets, i dont hate them, i used to have to look after my brothers ex-gf's cat and that cat was kinda cool but i just think they are dumb and dogs own way more.

She gets very mad if I come home and do not sit down for her to sit and pad on me for a few minutes and will keep squacking until I do. I love them dearly even though they all deliberately try to undo me
