They're going to immediately forget that all that poo poo is up there and take it up to highway speeds. Let's see what can withstand 70 MPH sustained winds... Also, LOL and that now-mangled hood. Memento posted:It's wrapped pretty well, so it's hard to tell, but that could be someone's entire worldly possessions on the back of their car so they can move house. What the hell is going on with that hitch? It's hard to make out what is attached where. I mean, the truck isn't beefy enough, but you could at least use a ball mount that raises the ball enough to somewhat level the trailer.

The boat is on the trailer right, truck isn't rated to tow that much weight.

CO2 sucks for class B fires, the liquid is often hot enough to auto ignite once the extinguisher is removed, and it takes a fuckton of CO2 to smother a liquid fire that size. I can't believe an auto shop doesn't have a decent size dry chemical extinguisher on hand. Spark was probably just static if that's gas.

It's actually supposed to go further forward, with the bow snugged right up in the bow stopper. Looks like old mate's bought too big a trailer hoping she'll grow into it. Poor VS . My housemate had one back in the day, used to pull wicked single peggers if it'd been raining.

I didn't know that about the boat, makes sense considering the way weight distribution works with a trailer. More carnage carefully gathered from the corners of the internet. https://imgur.com/o6XGPeM.mp4

I'm not a boat person, but yeah, it looks like that trailer is not setup correctly for that boat. So the tongue weight is probably inappropriate for even the correct tow vehicle. The trailer appears to be a "Boat Master" Commercial model. It comes with at 60K pintle hitch and a 10K tongue jack, where the rule of thumb is that the jack's capacity should be ~10% of the trailer's. I wonder if this was a lender repo crew that ... made some bad decisions. Farmers sometimes make dollies out of angle iron and booger welds so they can use a tow ball to move equipment with a gooseneck/two-point hitch around the yard (or down a county road when they don't want to put hours on a tractor).

Finding a large boat trailer in florida right now is interesting. My work is having to scramble to source trailers for some of our boats and still coming up short with the more unique ones. Setting it up like that will work well enough to transport it to a marina where it can be craned into the water or live in a slip. Also, loving lol, bayliner.
