And the Saturday Morning Cartoon is honestly the best parallel. Particularly since Conservatism I would argue universally views good and evil in such simplistic and childish terms that it cannot distinguish meaningful differences between its enemies. It cannot conceptualize Islam and Feminism and Atheism and Socialism as different enemies to be approached and understood on their own terms, because there is only the Good and the monolithic Bad.
