did anyone watch the Vice documentary on QAnon. I thought it was pretty interesting and they went through the history of its creation to the Capitol riots. Series is here if you want to watch it. The conclusion they basically reach is that they think someone is weaponizing it (strongly hinted that it's Flynn) to radicalize people until their basically fascist system. The CIA operative guy who writes those books is super creepy and is either playing his role very well or is genuinely crazy.

What if it's a psychopath who wants to, in the long term, discredit these assholes without a care in the world for what destruction they wreak in the short term? In the short term it's very dangerous, probably not a risk worth taking, but if we make it through that segment it could discredit the right wing for a generation or more.

This has definitely been proposed a few times in the thread but most of the time we end up concluding that Q is a movement composed of 50 cars with no brakes hurtling toward the same destination and 5 drivers between them. There have been attempts to control the screaming herd but they all end up losing control of the narrative in the end

One of the most obvious complete Trump falsehoods is that he's 6'3" and 240 lbs. He's like 5'10" (with his lifts he's about 6' as he is noticeably shorter than Trudeau) and well over 300. Melania at 5'11 is taller than Trump in most images. If you give her 3" for her heels that still puts Trump at under 6'1" in his heels.

That study should be scrutinized, honestly. If a study is over 10 years old (let alone 25) and never been successfully repeated, that's generally cause for being extra critical of the results in academia. Arousal as a reaction to stimuli you don't neccesarily find sexually appealing happens. I think to people it makes a great gotcha to say "ah these homophobes are actually homos themselves how ironic" but tends to not hold up. Some people are just lovely.

Hey y'all. A while ago I intervview a cult deprogrammer and created this documentary on Qanon, online cults/extremist groups and how to get out. Well, Youtube has ust flagged it for "promoting conspiracy theories" and in some sreas it is now unsearchable. I don't usually outright ask this, but any shares (especially somewhere you think it might get passed around) would help me out, as Youtube's action has killed the ideo's momentum dead.
