They should probably start by trying to figure out what has been dumped in or near Beaufort's Dyke and where in the Irish Sea it has ended up.

how long until a comittee (of Tory friends) gets setup to do a feasibility study on this and then claims it's a bad idea after a few million were spent on that study?

Also the reason that valley in the seabed hasn't filled up with silt and sand is that the current moves fairly swiftly through there. This also helps redistribute rusty bombs onto local beaches

Bojo loves a big engineering project in proximity to high explosives. He wanted to put an airport in the Thames Estuary near a shipwreck that contains 1400 tons of bombs.

So why are there plans to build tunnels under the sea? Going over the sea is really cheap and easy as a method of transportation. Is it just the UK trying to become America and use cars for everything no matter how dangerous or impractical?

Also, building a bridge would be complicated because the strait between Ireland and Scotland was used for years as a dumping ground for munitions and nuclear waste, so under the sea it goes

I think it's something to do with land vs sea borders with NI??? It's irrelevant though to Boris if it would help or not. He just wants a big Boris bridge after the Garden Bridge failed (taking 43M of public money with it) and will accept a tunnel as a 2nd place prize.

Boris is looking for something for the right wing press to drivel on about and manufacture some kind of brexit postwar consensus with these insane china-scale project to "inspire" the nation. It won't be built for all the obvious reasons. But then HS2 was openly not worth the money. I forget what happened with the extra London runways they seemed unpopular also.

Also we hosed up our existing easy shipping channels with Brexit lol. The EU are bypassing us entirely and taking their stuff all the way to Ireland because it's cheaper than hauling overland through the kingdom of broken toys.
