Yes extremely, unless the soi-disant expert is best buds with the owner or manager.

I was at my usual indoor range about a year and a half ago (before COVID) and there was a couple next to me who clearly were there shooting for the first time. They had a rental AR and an AK, and were along the wall. The guy had clearly watched YouTube videos the night before on how to actually "maek gun werk" but his stance and fire discipline were terrible (I think at one point when I bothered to notice he had tried hip firing). The woman was worse. Bad chick leaning and jerky hand movements when *yanking* the trigger. I only noticed once the rangemaster called a cease fire that they'd been tearing the ever loving gently caress out of the sound dampening tiles on the wall all the way downrange as well as taking chunks out of the ceiling. Their actual target itself looked like Mr. Magoo was firing buckshot.

That looks like Voda, if so, he has been banned from multiple ranges in his area because he likes to roll in and film his dubious videos while he flags everything in the room.

So I don't consider myself a Vehicle Combat Expert, but I did spend a few semesters studying it at the Community Colleges of Mesopotamia.

If you are driving, you loving drive. Your primary weapon is the loving vehicle. I've been watching tracers from a loving M2 track towards my seat through the windscreen. I sat where the gently caress I was, because I was the driver, and the most casualty producing weapon is the vehicle. It's not fun. It's not easy. But the only reason you should be exiting your vehicle is if it's immobile.

For every car I've seen stopped with a 9mm or 5.56, I've seen multiple take rounds from 50 and keep moving.

As someone that spent all my infantry time in big dumb army trucks, yeah, dismounting is dumb as hell. Drive through, get to safety. Stopping is just a good way to get people shot.

I'm not a military guy, I'm just a computer janitor, but it would seem to me. That if you're in a car, and it isn't disabled and a dude is shooting at you, the obvious reaction is to drive off.

Dive into the back, then do your little lean and roll would be better, than just jumping out and climbing in the back seat. Maybe if you're driving a two door, you open the driver's side, then run all the way around to the other side? No one knows!

DA on point there. She recognized the body language first so when the defendant looked to the side she knew he was there.

Also the cop calling in units once he learned the address unprompted.

Also the judge protecting the record once he realized this recording would be used as evidence for new charges.

Proffesionals working in concert. Feels like an Aaron Sorkin movie.

should have picked four fingers

The judge sums it up pretty well - "that's the first time I've heard of someone trying to intimidate the witness live and in person". Homeboy was at the lady's apartment trying to make her say the right things, attorney picked up on it, police were dispatched, idiot got dragged off.

Kudos to all involved, seriously.

The defendant's call was coming from inside the house of the plaintiff!

And then the defendant picked the call back up from the plaintiff's phone after the police showed up.

Then the defendant still tried to answer for the plaintiff after the police showed up.

The defender has a thousand yard stare as he drinks a Perrier.

The prosecutor facepalms.

It's a zoom court court hearing about a domestic violence case. Most people would not find it particularly disturbing, nothing too much in detail but it's a bit chilling.

Don't want to spoil it so I'll just say that nothing horrible happens.

That's my bad there, didn't read up. The fine seems kind of light. Does her fighting the charge make the possibility of her spending time in jail more likely and could she lose her law license? Also, who the gently caress names their business Notary Babez, that's even poo poo for a name you'd use on a porn set.

Do you like muskets?

quote:

In a phone interview, O'Neil said she'll challenge the punishment, citing the judge's "rudeness" and "disrespect" for her "off-the-cuff" remark. O'Neil contends she was fighting for what's best for her client, Burns.

"As for that fine — straight cash homie," O'Neil texted later. "Bottomline don’t disrespect me and try to humiliate me in front of my client and other professionals then think I’m going to sit there and take it whether you got on a robe or not I’m a person just like her I’m not her child nor do I work for her get respect and I give respect. Period."

This definitely sounds like a professional law talker.
