Got my first shot earlier, thanks socialism given to me for going to war, because that's how America works! Also picked up some new clothes. I got a couple of those stereotypical Columbia short sleeve fishing shirts, and, man....I see now why every fat dude wears these things. Goddamn this is comfy.

Cage owes SO MUCH money to the IRS (from back when he was like buying castles and not paying taxes lmao) that he has to take whatever film he can get just to pay off the interest. Ideally he'd take 2 years off, lose a bunch of weight, and rebrand himself, but he just doesn't have that luxury. And he still made Mandy which is a better movie than anything Travolta or Willis have done in the last ten years. Travolta's career has been an insane roller coaster but he was in Gotti a couple years ago and they at least tried to make that good. Overall his career is kinda lukewarm with some GIANT hits. But yeah he'll never be an action star again or anything, and even that was kind of a bizarre moment in time. The same guy from Face/Off is in Hairspray? Okay sure.

Cage will give you a performance, but he was in such shittily made movies for like a decade where it didn't matter, he didn't have anything to work with. Like, go watch Season of the Witch / Trespass / Left Behind / Ghost Rider. Nobody had anything for those roles.
