I regret selling mine, it went to Texas and I believe was completely parted out to a bare shell. I should have put an interior back into it and kept it as a daily driver.

Oh that looks awesome.

I definitely missed the boat on these, probably could've exchanged it for my miata not too much extra cash a few years ago, now they're more rare and cost as much as an ND or a Boxster.

I used to park in a parking garage and one of its residents was a clean, obviously loved S2000 with a license plate like "S2K" or something. There were several cars in that garage that they're owners were real proud of, come to think of it.

I don't ever remember them being cheap tbh, that's why I always ended up with a Miata :v:

I know one of lads that works for Phil at Driftworks and was made aware of the 'fun' they had getting that front end on it. It looks so drat good now though.

I really like the vintage pickup ute, but the Chevy badge on the grill of a GMC annoys me, never mind that generation of truck always put the badge on the hood bonnet.
Supercharger, presumably LSx, though! Love all the room for activities in the engine compartment of those, though I understand the frame rails are a little tight.

With regards to the S600 chat: I would love one, but I don't even fit in Miatas, much less a kei car. I *might* fit in the kei trucks and vans. 6' 2" and, uh, *American*-sized.

As Nero Danced posted:

I don't actually have a dream car (I seem to have a dream motorcycle thing), but if I did the S2000 is definitely on the top 5 of the list. Every time I see one I just can't look away.

MY dream car is a Mach 5 from Speed Racer/Mach Go Go Go!, built correctly, with a V-12. So far the only replica I've seen that was close enough was the one built for the movie. I can't decide if I want the vintage version, or the modern additions on the movie version (side skirts, larger diameter/wide wheels, mainly - they stayed pretty close to the original.) No, it doesn't have to have the special features - they'd just be disappointing and take up room. I want to drive the thing, everywhere.

I accompanied my dad to do this once when I was a kid. Garages didn't take old oil and there weren't any recycling centers. Disposing of old motor oil was a significant problem for people who did their own oil changes.

Some people would burn it, others dumped it in the trash. Most people did as was shown here - just found a sandy patch of ground to pour it into and pretend it would go away.
