All that matters is that Jet is absurdly fun to use. what i remember off the top of my head are that the falling headbonk works a bit differently (but just enough for me to never not notice it argh), basic guarding isn't as op, and you can't charge plasma as ludicrously quick the biggest thing for me is the co-op, but at the end of the day both are still the best kirby game

Kirby's Dreamland 1 and 2 on Gameboy was my first Kirby games. I tried Super Star once on an emulator and it felt wrong and didn't have animals to ride and I quit it without a second thought. Maybe I should try it again sometime! Is it on Switch SNES Online, I ask, knowing that no, no games you want to play ever are or will be. In other news Kirby Star Stacker still best puzzle game.

cozy grove is pretty neat so far probably the closest thing you're gonna get to an indie take on animal crossing, although it does its own thing (you are helping ghost villagers remember who they are by doing tasks for them, as their heart level grows the area around them gets more colorful and you can harvest in colored areas). but like animal crossing it has a real-time clock and quests that unlock over time, it has mail from villagers with presents, it has the typical resource harvesting loop, and it has achievements that give you in-game money (like nook miles). so far i have a basic shovel, pickaxe and fishing rod and just a few recipes to craft, although i've only been playing for a couple of hours since last night. villagers give you spirit logs to feed to your campfire which levels it up and causes more of the island to reveal itself (and thus more villagers). they may need to tweak some of the controls... this is the apple arcade version so it's designed for touch first and controller second.. the buttons are mapped OK-ish, but i've had to tap multiple times in harvesting spots sometimes for it to actually do what I ask. and navigating the inventory menu is more of a pain than animal crossing this is by the dev of Triple Town and Alphabear so they generally are a mobile dev first, although they did Road Not Taken on PC (all their stuff is on Steam at this point). also lots of bears

Tried out Breathedge since it is available via Gamepass now. So far it seems very much like a Subnautica in space, but the thing that really turned me off the game was the constant, terrible attempts at humor. The best way I can think of describing it is the subreddit "r/funny" written by someone who's main language is obviously not English, but trying very hard to sound American. So you're floating trough space and this really quite nice, atmospheric music is playing, then the wacky AI character will break in with a barrage of unfunny exposition and the whole experience gets ruined. Here's hoping the new Subnautica game is done soon.
