Maybe not the best place to ask but has anyone in the US managed to keep the WWE network going? It's been great to casually put on in the background while working from home, and I spent the pandemic working through all WWF/WCW/ECW ppvs starting at Starrcade 83, but now I'm stuck between Judgment Day and Halloween Havoc 98. Peacock sounds like a nightmare. I'm using a VPN already, but it doesn't help at all because my account was suddenly frozen right around Fastlane and I can't even log in. Is making a new account with a random foreign address the move? Has anyone done it yet who can confirm?

And that beginning was one of my favorite Rumble things of all time. It's really too bad that due to the Warriors being a shinier toy and one or both of them suing WWE, they got completely left out of the retro poo poo. Demolition showing up in the 00's when they could still somewhat move and look the part would have really got me as someone who started watching in 1988.

You're right about Shane vs Vince as Shane didn't get Here Comes the Money until Backlash the following month (or just before it, idk). It's weird, and all they did for the videos was separate the Vince and Shane clips that had previously been part of the same package, but they're at least spaced apart a bit by Shane coming out first and introducing Foley as the guest referee, who of course came out to the car crash theme.

Oh the change over didn't happen yet? That's weird, I guess something unrelated happened to my account. But yeah that sounds totally manageable. It's a pretty impressive amount of content it'd be a shame to lose and I doubt it's really all surviving the transition.

Did you billing cycle end, because I think they just cut you off if your billing cycle ended such that your next cycle would go past the drop dead date.

Peacock bought the rights to stream WWE content in the US, so the US version of the network is closing down and people have to move over. The network still exists in the rest of the world where Peacock doesn't exist. Reportedly WWE is in line to make close to a billion from this.
