I can speak to the ammo scarcity.
The pandemic and unrest turned a whole lot of people, including lefty folks, into first time gun buyers. Anytime there is a new president, especially a DEMONcRAT, there is also a huge run on all things gun. Add that with the two aforementioned factors, and guns/ammo are unbelievably scarce.
I have a case of ammo for a Goon Shoot shoved in my closet that I bought for about $200 a pre-pandemic. Now, that same box is sold out loving everywhere. If I wanted to sell it, I could at get at least $600, probably more.
Elections always make stuff scarce, but ammo companies are saying they are months behind quotas and completely unable produce enough to catch up.
(Yes, I'm a leftist gun weirdo who grew up in the south shooting at paper targets and plastic coke bottles in the woods.)

I can't imagine it's a good idea, but I am not really much of a military hardware person.
You also have the more modern concept of networked sensor platforms that basically use some sort of weird mortar style system to lob smart-mines in directions based off sensor readings. So if a mine blows they launch more of whatever type is determined to be useful in that direction, if they try going around it the system lobs some in that direction, etc. It arguably makes for a "more humane" mine field since it in theory only launches munitions where they're needed and the networked nature of it means you know where every mine is. In theory. No idea if any of those have made it to mass production though, I kind of doubt many of them have made it past the concept stage, let alone prototyping.

Why is it that weak Christians take the World’s deceitful accusation and smear - that it is somehow wrong for a Godly person to have wealth - again, as the Bible says “Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart”. So they see wealth and judge that it must have been gotten deceitfully or immorally at the cost of exploiting others. WRONG. Why is it so hard to imagine that God would like to raise up GODLY men and women who can be good and faithful stewards of currency - who know that God can wipe it out in a moment (Job) and God desires them to be obedient as He leads them and also to give generously, i.e., be conduits of His working.

They didn't "negotiate a good deal for themselves," the loving point is that the landowner was generous and kind and of his own free will paid as much to the people who worked less! The landowner is God in this parable! Humans can't "negotiate" with God for a better deal! The point of the parable is God is loving and willing to admit people into his kingdom whether they were lifelong followers or converted in old age! The lifelong ones don't get to go to a "better Heaven."

The landowner is God in this parable! Humans can't "negotiate" with God for a better deal! The point of the parable is God is loving and willing to admit people into his kingdom whether they were lifelong followers or converted in old age! The lifelong ones don't get to go to a "better Heaven."
Ha ha, can you imagine if the Bible had a story where someone was told that they needed to give up their wealth to be saved? Like, it would be crazy if Jesus, who is literally God according to Christians, told a rich man he needed to give everything he owned to the poor! That sure would be hilarious, but obviously the Bible contains no such story at all, the idea is laughable!

I would call that a grossly inaccurate description of what conservatives are trying to do.
