More likely Blade if they can get it together by then.

If you need to speculate, that is very clearly the Fantastic Four logo behind the Marvel logo at the end.

Yeah yeah 15 movies next year or whatever, that's nice. When are we getting release dates for Moon Knight and She-Hulk!?

Would be an incredibly compressed production schedule though. I think they just moved the October 2022 mystery release to 2023 and it's Fantastic 4.

There is a shot of the Eternals in front of what i think is the Ishtar Gate in Babylon, so are they going to be superheroing though the ages? Not in a time travel way, but in a we live forever so we have been fighting evil since the humans first discovered fire hot. Smart they didn't show any date for Fantastic 4, because who knows what's going to happen.

They are the "real life" figures that stories of legend and myth are based off of. They are literally Gilgamesh, Ajax, Circe, Athena, etc.

My guess is that they all hit a point where they gave up and stopped caring over the millenia, and until whatever inciting incident gets them back together to be superheroes, nobody plain gave a gently caress anymore.

Some Eternals don't care about humans, some do, some are disillusioned, etc. So they probably don't get their poo poo back together until after Thanos.

The latter guess is quite possible as well, tbh

Unless they want to say "this is the reason why Zeus is sometimes not a jerk." Or "this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They only have the Norse Pantheon, and no other gods."

Marvel has the Greek gods as well. The people of Greece just confused some of them with Eternals and vice versa.

you could do a bit where the Eternals do try to stop Thanos, but half of them get dusted while they're trying to form the Uni Mind so they're like "ah. jeez. well, we tried"

Calling the Captain Marvel sequel "The Marvels" is the cheekiest inter-company beef move that I can remember in recent history. I don't even know if it was intentional, I just bet there are a lot of Billy Batson fans who made a face like a fart noise when they saw that logo.

Well if there's a scene where Carol suggests Kamala go by "Captain Marvel Jr" and she's like "...but I'm not your son" then you'll have your answer.

Is there any in-fiction reason people call her that? It seems like the first case of a Marvel movie just kind of being like "that's what she's called in the comic and we're not gonna try to justify why this lady gets called something so weird." Like it's not her codename or call sign, she doesn't have a secret identity, and afaik she never interacted with anyone named like "Mar Vell" or whatever
